  • What are the sanitizing practices?
    After each rental, we thoroughly sanitize and disinfect all surfaces to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for our clients. We disinfectant all high-touch surfaces such as door handles, benches, and control panels. The sauna reaches up to 200 degrees, which acts as a natural disinfectant during the post cleaning drying process as well. Additionally, we clean all towels and linens with hot water and sanitizing detergents to eliminate any germs or bacteria.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    In the event of cancellation, we ask for at least 48 hours notice to allow us the opportunity to fill your slot. Please note that a non-refundable deposit of $200 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled session, the $200 deposit will not be refunded. However, if you provide at least 48 hours notice, the deposit can be applied to a future appointment within 6 months.
  • Who shouldn't use the sauna?
    Individuals who should not use the sauna include: Those who are pregnant Have cardiovascular conditions Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs Have open wounds, or have recently undergone surgery. It is important to consult with a healthcare professional if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns.
  • How hot is sauna?
    The sauna can reach up to 200 degrees fahrenheit. The temperature is adjustable and will depend on the amount of wood added to the stove, whether or not water is added to create steam, and ventilation.
  • What do I need to bring to a sauna session?
    Bring a towel, the benches may be hot Swim attire (e.g. shorts, sports top, or athletic wear) Shoes (e.g. flip flops) Bring water bottle and hydrate before, during and after
  • How old should someone be to use the sauna?
    Almost anyone can use the sauna but those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This is due to the high temperatures and potential health risks associated with sauna use, especially for those who are younger and still developing. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our clients.
  • What are the health benefits of using a wood-fired sauna?
    Using a wood-fired sauna provides numerous health benefits: Helps to relax muscles Improves circulation Helps detoxify the body through sweating Reduced stress Decreased inflammation Anti-aging properties Increased endorphins helps fight depression And much more!
  • How long should I stay in a sauna?
    We recommend starting with shorter times and gradually building up to 10-15 minutes as you become more accustomed to the heat. It's important to listen to your body and not push yourself too hard, especially if you are new to sauna use.
  • What is a cold plunge and how does it fit into the services offered at Steam Mobile Sauna?
    A cold plunge is a therapeutic practice that involves immersing the body in cold water for a short period of time, typically between 30 seconds to 3 minutes. After enjoying the heat and detoxifying benefits of our mobile sauna, our clients can step into the cold plunge to experience a range of health benefits, including reduced inflammation, improved circulation, increased energy levels, and enhanced recovery after physical activity. The combination of heat and cold can also provide a unique form of stress relief and mental clarity. Our cold plunge is a 100 gallon tank that we fill with water upon delivery.
